Industrial cast iron, steel and oak Printer’s turtle table with swivel castors. Using an original steel top and castors we fabricated this table based on a design for a letterpress printing “Turtle.” These tables/carts were used in the composition area when lead type forms were made and used to transport them to the press. Steel top is 1 1/4″ thick. Width — 28 1/2" Depth — 24 1/2" Height — 38 1/4"
